Women Looking For Alternatives to the Costs of IVF
Many women are choosing unusual methods in their quest to become pregnant. One of the things pushing women towards many of these unorthodox methods is the exploding cost of IVF. Going to a clinic and being quoted a cost of $10,000 can be sticker price to many people.
And $10,000 is firmly on the low end of the quotes that a woman will probably get. In addition to the cost of IVF itself, there will be costs for fertility drugs, monitoring, blood work, and all sorts of other procedures. To avoid procedures such as IVF, one thing that many women look into is acupuncture.
Although researchers can’t explain why, women who use acupuncture in combination with infertility treatments such as in-vitro fertilization, are more likely to become pregnant than women who have not had acupuncture. This has been confirmed, so far, in two different studies.
