The Samsung UE40C7000 3D-TV is the first 3DTV to go on sale in England. The TV is a 40-inch LED (basically an upgraded LCD) screen which can refresh at 200Hz… easily fast enough to show the necessary images which, in combination with special LCD glasses, creates the “third dimension” visual effect inside your head!

The UE40C7000 also functions as a spectacular set for regular TV viewing. It has a resolution of 1080p, which is full high definition. Although there’s not a lot of 3D content to see at the moment, that will change over time as Blu-Ray 3D takes off. Sky are also launching their Sky 3D channel and the Sony Playstation 3 will soon have 3D for its games.
