I haven’t been to the vets with my dog for a long time, thank goodness, however, I needed to go the other day because he was limping slightly for a few days. Whilst waiting in the vets I was amazed to see such a vast display of pet food and also how expensive the pet food was! I thought it was costly enough with the tinned dog food we have always used but this dog food was a lot more expensive. I started talking to the person sitting next to me about it and found that it is now all the rage to feed a complete dog food or cat food to your pets, it’s more of a natural food and doesn’t have all the additives that a lot of the pet food does these days. The person sitting opposite us joined in and told us how his dog lost weight using this type of food and is a lot more energetic because of it. It’s a lot more expensive though were my comments but he reassured me that in the long run it isn’t that much more because you need less and you only use the one type as it is a complete dog food so you don’t’ need dry and tinned.
He actually showed me the measuring cup that comes with it and I found it difficult to believe that would fill my dog up and give him what he needed. It was my turn to see the vet so I asked him about the complete dog food and he gave me a trial size to
take home. My dog actually seemed to enjoy it so I will give it a go.
