As a novice chicken farmer, you might be wondering whether you should build chicken coop or chicken hutches. Well, your decision will basically depend on how many chickens you intend to keep. If you just want two or three chickens initially, a chicken hutch might be a better idea since it is easier to build and costs less. However, if you are planning to expand into a full-scale poultry farm in the future, it might be more practical to build chicken coops right from the beginning, even if you just have a couple of chickens to start with. You also have to realize that chicken coops are much larger and take up more space, so that is another factor that you have to take into consideration.
