Do people really Buy Satin Bedspreads? Silk and satin sheets was really the luxury item of the 1970’s and perhaps the best skin care for bedtime that money could buy. But there were very few people who could afford, or refused to pay for, such expensive bedding, not even as a gift item. But here’s a fact: Most people spend more money on their cars and caravans than they ever had on their bedrooms and bedding items. When you think that most Americans spend approximately one third of their lives in the bed (8 hours avg), compared to just to just 2.5 hours in the car, it makes you wonder where our logic comes from. In addition to this, most folks get stressed when in the car, whereas people tend to relax in the bedroom. So why do we skimp so much on beds and bedding items, and never stop shopping for the best cars, accessories, and so on? Good kip means good functioning and a balanced perspective and that has t be good for overall health and wellbeing. In a world that’s on the go so much, maybe the time has come to look at the beds and bedding of our family homes and see if we’re looking after ourselves as well as we care for our cars and other ‘things’.
