Four New Bluray Players From Panasonic
Electronics giant and early blu-ray adopter Panasonic recently introduced four brand new blu-ray disc players. The players announced includes the innovative 3D-capable Panasonic DMP-BDT350 player. When used with a 3DTV and a pair of 3D glasses you will get to enjoy full high definition 3D in all its glory in the comfort of your home. The BDT350 has received the prestigious CES Innovations Award for 2010. It plays 3D Bluray, normal bluray, DVDs and CDs. It handles the standard Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. It also comes with an SD memory card slot for digital images, video files, and the VIERA Cast range of online streaming media from Netflix and YouTube.
Panasonic have also launched 3 other bluray players to complete its lineup, namely the Panasonic DMP-BD45, the Panasonic DMP-BD65 and the fully featured Panasonic DMP-BD85. The DMP-BD45 is their cheapest bluray player and does not have networking built-in. The BD65 and BD85 is almost similar in features. They come with HD audio decoding, VIERA Cast online streaming media, an SD memory card slot, 96kHz audio surround re-mastering for improved CD performance and Panasonic’s PHL Reference Chroma Processor Plus image processing technology. What separates the BD85 is built-in Wi-Fi, DivX video support via the SD card slot, 7.1 analogue audio outputs, an HDMI Jitter Purifier, gold-plated terminals, a 192kHz-24 bit D/A converter and something innovative called Digital Tube Sound Simulator that simulates the warm sound of tubes so cherished by audiophiles.
Panasonic have solved the age old problem of long waiting times for the bluray discs to load. Their engineers have improved on the the start-up time to just 14 seconds. Impressive numbers indeed. Panasonic has also made a commitment to make their products more environmental friendly. All the new BD players comes with a Power Save function that automatically turns off the player when you want to only watch TV.
