Battery powered Christmas tree lights are becoming more common every year. They simplify placing lights in places that have no access to an electrical outlet or are hard to reach with an electrical cord. They can be set to go on and off automatically just like regular lights.

Newer versions are particularly economical with the growing popularity of very power efficient LED lights. LED lights can now operate for several days on small AA batteries. These alternate power light systems are wonderful for garlands, table top decorations, sailboats, any vehicle, and other location where AC power is not available.

New products have thin, flexible wiring light that can be easily manipulated and shaped to any form. These light sets can be used for centerpieces, flower arrangements, and other decorative settings.
