Website positioning strategies for more web site traffic

There are lots of website positioning strategies and one way to increase website traffic is with links. Links are what the net is built on and money making websites couldn’t exist with out them.

You know how to make a website so now lets get more website traffic with links. One of the best links strategies I ever used was having 1500 of my own sites in 5 different niches and mostly on different class c ip addresses for the main categories of sites.

It made it much easier to rank high on google and it was a network of sites that I controlled. Sometimes you could do a search and I’d have the top 30 positions. Life was easy back then. Now Google’s made it tougher on spammers and non relevant sites.

Overture was the original site that invented pay for performance and it worked very well. Overture had the foresight to see the net was going to become the fastest and easiest way to shop and advertising on the net was going to be much higher than it was in any other type of media.

Yahoo bought out overture, I think, in a bid to keep up with Googles AdWords. To get a visitor to your site it needs to be very visible and providing ads that can direct visitors to your site allowed them to increase their own traffic as well. Yahoo provides services, like Google, that can put an ad in for you when certain words or phrases are searched for but you’ll always want more web site traffic than you’re getting now.

Yahoo can give you a shot at increasing your traffic by using the services they have to offer. When you get more peope to your site you get a chance at more sales and the way it’s done at Yahoo makes it highly targeted traffic. With that traffic and good pages you should more than increase your sales to cover the costs of using Yahoo this way.
