Angel Fancy Dress Costumes – Great For Little Girls
Little girls have such good imaginations and they love utilizing them! An important thing as a parent is to encourage your child’s creative side from early age. This not only means that you provide them with a lot of fun play, but also helps them to develop other skills such as thinking outside of the box. Designing and making angel fancy dress costumes is one of my little girls favorite activities.
Acting and costume role playing is an activity that your child can play with a parent or other children. This kind of activity is further enhanced with a collection of costumes you and your children have bought or made.
Here is one idea for making a girls angel outfit that will provide hours of amusement and fun.
The Angel children’s costume is always my girls favorite. Using a few yards of netting that can be gathered at the waist using basting stitch on your sewing machine and making sure that it’s fixed with some elastic a couple of inches smaller than your child’s waist. Get a plain white tee shirt that can be decorated with some glitter or white sequins on the front and back of the shirt, a length of frilly lace for the neckline. And to complete the child’s costume, you can make some wings out of gold or silver cardboard and some more elastic for arm straps to hold them in place, and purchase some wired tinsel for a halo.
Hey presto! A quick and easy angel outfit. Of course these costumes can be more elaborately made or if you are not able to make one easily than consider buying an angel costume, they are cheaper than you think from online stores
