The nights can be very cold and you can offer them a warm place to curl up in by providing an outdoor cat house in your back yard or garden.
You would be doing everyone a good turn, because if they find warm and comfortable shelter, they are less likely to roam about and would stay out of every one’s way by being on your property.
Remember that your indoor cat would also want to spend a few hours outdoors if there was a place where it can be warm while surveying the territory around it.
