Of all the strains of grass that you can plan in your yard, Zoysia might be one of the best. Zoysia grass plugs are easy to grow, even for the inexperienced homeowner. The nice thing about them is that they come with their root system already established – so they’ve already begun to grow. You simply have to plant them at appropriate distances apart from each other and water them.

But don’t plant them too far apart. You don’t want them so far apart that you leave bare spots on your lawn. Also, if you plant them too far apart, it can take 2 or more seasons for your lawn to fill in properly. After planting them, you take care of your lawn just as you would any other type of planting. Your fertilize it and water it.
