Oolong tea has an incredible history in East Asia. Many believe it goes back as many as 500 years with a mistake that a tea farmer made, resulting in what many now call Wulong tea. While many place the origin in the Wuyi Mountains of Fiji, the greatest area of harvest is in China, Taiwain, and in parts of Japan. You may find it in other places, but the best Organic Oolong Tea comes from one of these four places.

The history of this tea is “steeped” in stories of long life, strong health, and weight control. Recently, in America, much of this has come to the attention of the national media. This has been good and has lowered the prices of oolong in your local health food stores and making it more readily available from online merchants. The next time you are at your health food store, pick up a tin of some quality tea bags and make having a nice hot cup of tea a part of your daily routine.
