What is OPC factor
OPC Factor is a class of bioflavanoids that are found in many foods of plant origin, and are regarded as one of the most powerful antioxidants around. They are one of the proanthocyanidins that have been found to have great anti aging potential.
Although they provide much benefits to us, we don’t get enough of them in our diets, due to having to eat a large amount of vegetables and fruits just to be able to obtain enough of it. Normally, OPC Factor is concentrated mainly in the skin and bark of plants (which we almost always throw away). That’s why we don’t usually get enough of it.
The best touted source of OPC Factor so far known is that of pine bark, although red grapes also contain good amounts. When you eat red grapes, make sure you eat the skin and seeds as well, if that is possible, because there you will find the most nutrients stored in those parts of the grape.
