The Clomid Infertility Drug
The Clomid infertility drug is for women who experience infertility due to a lack of ovulation, or who do not experience regular ovulation. Taken regularly, the Clomid infertility drug induces ovulation in otherwise healthy women. It does this by simulating abnormal estrogen levels which causes the body to release extra levels of the hormones needed to produce more mature eggs.
Some women are infertile because their ovaries have not matured and therefore will not release eggs. In this case synthetic FSH by injection or Clomid by means of a pill can be given to stimulate follicles to mature in the ovaries.
The Clomid infertility drug is prescribed for use on a daily basis. Generally the initial dosage will be rather low; only increased after time, if it proves to be ineffective through six or so cycles.
