HP 60 ink cartridges vs. the competition
The HP 60 cartridges were released with much fan fare in the spring of 2008. Despite the intensive 20th anniversary promotion by Hewlett Packard, the standard HP 60 cartridge falls short of delivering value in terms of cost per page.
In fact, when you compare the HP 60 to other cartridges in the same class, these standard capacity cartridges are amongst the most expensive cartridges ever produced for both OEM and remanufactured versions.
However, if you compare the HP 60xl (the high capacity series for the same printers), you’ll find that these rank a little better than average on the cost per ml (milliliter) basis.
See how the HP 60 compares to other inkjet cartridges on a cost per ml basis and decide for yourself.
