Learn Amazing Magic Tricks

When I was in my late teens, I started to learn some magic tricks online. It wasn’t that I wanted to be a magician or anything, but I did think that knowing a few tricks would help me to understand the magic of illusions that fascinated me so much. In my late teens, I had a great cigarette trick that entertained my friends. I could easily make a cigarette disappear, then reappear behind someone’s ear. It was an easy trick to do. All it was was a bit of misdirection and sleight-of-hand – the fundamental illusions that all magicians use. Nonetheless, my friends thought it was an amazing magic trick. Being able to see one of their own do something so mysterious was a great opportunity for them.

I learned some similar amazing magic tricks with coins which I do to show off the parties from time to time, but I never got much further than that. I had seen so many stage magicians in my life that I felt like it would take a lot of talent to really stick out – talent that I wasn’t sure I had. For me, the magic was gone.

Taking it to the next level
Then I saw something that changed my perception. I was exposed to a magician doing so-called mental magic. He was guessing the numbers people were thinking of, convincing people that he was a psychic, and performing all other sorts of mental illusions. Some of them were quite uncanny. I really couldn’t tell how he knew what was in people’s heads unless he had plants in the audience. When I saw what he was doing, I knew that I had to try it myself.

Men Halloween costumes can often be things that women might wear. These are done in the name of humor and can be some of the funniest that you will ever see. Think about the most feminine things that you love on a woman, and see what you can do to make it something you could wear. The maid outfit on a man is very funny, as is the ‘sexy nurse’ look. Perhaps a negligee might not be the best idea, but if you have an out of shape body, this can be exceptionally hilarious for men Halloween costumes.

When stuck, as some men find themselves each year, don’t give in and get something you don’t really wish to wear. Instead, use the Internet for all that it is worth. There are hundreds of different places through which you can find some amazing men Halloween costumes that you are going to love. Some border on the ordinary, but some are also out of this world. You are going to find something that you love and that fits your unique personality if you look around for a bit. If I had a dollar for all of the chain letters I’ve received in my lifetime, I’d be a millionaire. When I was younger, chain letters used to arrive via the regular postal mail. Remember them? You had to copy the letter so many times and mail it out to others. Modern day technology has converted those chain letters into emails. Now, I get tons of them. I normally delete them before I even open them, but I wish that my friends would just stop sending them to me. I don’t appreciate them. Did you use a Telephone Answering Machine?

Our answering machine was large and it had a large cassette tape in it that recorded incoming messages and another large cassette tape that played the outgoing messages. We had a lot of fun creating new and interesting greetings for callers on our answering machine.

Many of the answering machine greetings were annoying and some were very funny. We recorded songs, we took turns creating messages and we always kept things new. 

One of the more annoying answering machine greetings was the well-known, “Hello…Hello. I can’t hear you…Can you speak up? I still can’t hear you…Anyway, we’re not home. Leave a message on the answering machine after the beep.� Many callers were extremely irritated with the message and often hung up on the answering machine.

This is another simple trick. The magician has a helper in the crowd. This person reads the name written and gives small, unnoticeable signals to the magician. Since everyone’s attention is on the magician and the sealed box, this isn’t as difficult as it may seem. And each letter or sound can be signalled by a very simple gesture, such as a head scratch, tugging on an ear or undoing a button on the shirt. Once again, no mind reader, just a smart con artist!
