There are many tips for writing a book. But of all the advice, one of the best tips is to choose a topic that people want to read about. If you get this wrong, it’s true that you may write a book – but you won’s sell any.

And odds are slim that many people will ever even read your book. And once you choose your topic, outline it. Outlining can be a pain but one thing that it greatly helps to do is to force you to put your thoughts in order. You also have to write.

Many books never get written, not because the person lacks the skill to do so, but because he lacks the diligence to follow through on his dreams and to actually put the effort into writing. Even if what you write isn’t perfect -which most of it won’t be, the simple act of writing regularly will get you in the mindset to write.
