Peruvian Tomatoes: A Part of Peru’s History
Looking for a new twist on your regular Peruvian tomatoes? Tomatoes have been a part of Peru’s long cooking history, that is why many different types of dishes include tomatoes among the list of their ingredients. My sister and I like to hold late aftenoon tea parties. To our delight, a friend who happens to be a great cook prepared Slow Roasted Tomato Bruschetta with Giant Peruvian Lima Beans. It was such an awe to be able to try its clean taste. Although it is of Italian origin, the distinctive taste of Peruvian tomatoes that she used became the highlight of our discussion.
