Exactly a month ago, players in the UK, Ireland and continental Europe got their hands on a Black Wii bundle. This black version of the series on the Nintendo Wii was a series of limited edition that also comes with a new and exciting game of Wii Sports Resort, and the original Wii Sports. The The new Wii Sports Resort offered a total of 15 different sports and activities to enjoy.

In line with the launch of the range of accessories in black, the Classic Controller Pro was also released in Europe, which is an improved version of the Classic Controller. Black Wii Remote, Wii MotionPlus accessory and Nunchuk were also made available across Europe from Nov. 20.

The Wii Sports Resort which came with the Black Wii Bundle sold well over 1 million copies and brought an entire island along with 12 new exciting sports and activities. The sports featured in the Wii Sports Resort is made with incredible accuracy, with due credit to the Wii Motionplus accessory which came with the bundle.

The Black Wii bundle comes with a black Wii console with a matching Wii Remote, Wii MotionPlus accessory and Wii Nunchuk, along with Wii Sports Resort and original Wii Sports. Black Wii Remote, Wii Nunchuk and Wii Motion Plus were also made available to be purchased separately from the day of their release. The same controllers were also announced for release for the U.S. market without the matching console.

United Kingdom has not received any price reductions, unlike the U.S., which announced price reductions for the Wii back in September. They did start bundling of the Wii Sports Resort and Wii MotionPlus accessory for the console’s current price of 179.99. You can find the Black Wii Bundles listed on Amazon UK for only the price of 164.99 or roughly converts to about USD269 for the American audience.
