Using Solar Panels For Electricity
In the past few years, pv solar roof panels have become amazingly cost effective. These days, home solar panels for electricity can be purchased for less than $200 or $300. But since solar panels do not have to be new, an alternative is to buy used solar panels. And for those that don’t mind do it yourself projects, making their own solar panels for electricity can save them a bit of money.
Some states are starting to encourage citizens and companies to use solar energy as well. For example, a few years ago California made partially committed itself to use solar power by adopting what’s called the “California Solar Initiative”. This is a forward looking 10 year program that has as its goal installing thousands of solar panels on rooftops in the state.
